Spiritual Growth is Important
We believe that God wants each follower of His Son to grow into spiritual maturity. 2 Peter 3:18 says, " But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."
At Cambridge we encourage growth through coming to our SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE, attending CAMBRIDGE DISCOVERY DAYS and by joining a SMALL GROUP.
Sunday Worship
Our Sunday Worship provides you a chance to worship God with others through singing, prayer and participating in communion. Through the relevant message you will learn truths about who God is and what His will is for your life. Sundays give you a chance to see friends, bring new people and get a fresh start for the week.
Children's Ministry and Student Ministry matter to us a great deal. Your kids will have a great time making friends and learning about how Jesus Christ can make a positive difference in their life every day.
Cambridge Discovery Days
At Cambridge, we believe that Spiritual Growth happens over time. Each of us is at a different place spiritually, and the next step is going to look a little different along the way. In an effort to meet the needs of people on their journey, we have designed several "mini-retreats" to help you take your next step. Each step is a discovery - we discover more about who we are and who God is. So come join us at Cambridge for your next step!
Cambridge Discovery Retreats:
- Discovering Cambridge Membership will help you find out how to connect with God and become part of his family at Cambridge Church. It is a three hour course that is held every other month. Please check out our event calendar to see when the next one will be held.
- Discovering the Spiritual Journey covers key spiritual truths and behaviors including prayer, Bible study, forgiveness and the power of the Holy Spirit.
- Discovering Your Spiritual Gifts is designed to help you discover how God has shaped you for serving others.
- Becoming a Contagious Christian equips you to share your faith in Christ in a way which is natural to you and helpful to others.
Small Groups
At Cambridge, we believe in the value of a small group of people to encourage and help each of us live out the Christian life. We not-so-cleverly call these "Small Groups." They are a gathering place where you can meet new people and begin to live out the Christian life together. Jesus once said that "Where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am with them." So a small group is a great opportunity to not only enjoy the presence and encouragement of other people, but also to encounter God in the unique way that only community can provide.
